Study Shows Casual Sex not damaging for Mental Health.

In a new study released today, it has been found that the affects of casual sex is actually important for good mental health. Indeed, the study shows that there are no ill affects to casual sex. It is telling, that this study was conducted in accordance with standard scientific procedures.

Additionally, the study, which took some time to compile, has shown what seems to be irrefutable data relating good mental health to people who engage in casual sex.

The study itself, which can be found here: “http://news.google.ca/news/more?pz=1&cf=all&topic=m&ncl=dyUfVwg2a1BrFhMSnUXI4XbxqQeqM” was conducted with a data set of 1,300 young adults in Minnesota. Interestingly enough, the actual study seems to understate the long held misconceptions of the negative affects of casual sex for young adults.

It would seem however, if this study were to come to the attention of the general public; parents across the country might be wringing their collective hands by the end of the night. As a concluding note, it is of importance that the data set contained young adults and not older, more mature adults. It would seem, a broader study conducted across age groups might provide deeper insight into why casual sex is not bad for the mental health of young adults.

  1. Know anyone fro Fargo? How about anyone from Minnesota? Do you think kids in Minnesota North Country are anything like the rest of the United States? This is one of the silliest declarations I’ve ever heard of.

You might as well have done the study on 1500 people from Louisiana. Or 1500 students from Las Vegas.

Do you really think one highly polarized sample way up north is clear indication of the bigger picture? Whoever green lit this from the WireServices must be tapping overtime to get a silly story like this out.
