It’s extremely important this fall and winter season to get your flu shot. Fortunately Google has launched a new feature on its maps, to find out who and where are giving flu shots in your area. Times reported the launching, and now it has become a nation wide usage.
When you go on Google, the user types in, ‘flu shot finder’ in the search, and then you are brought to it. After that, you will be shown a map of the entire United States. On the side bar of this map, you type in your zip code and the locations will appear on the map with either pink syringes or blue syringes.
The pink syringes show just the regular seasonal flu vaccination spots, and the blue show where the H1N1 shots appear. They also can be a mix between blue and pink, which are locations that have both the seasonal and the H1N1 vaccinations.
Though they show the entire United States, reports say that they only show the vaccinations in twenty states. They say that Google is going to update it to show it spread across the United States, but it’s going to take a little longer than planned.
