According to People.com and other news sources, Farah Fawcett has returned to a Los Angeles hospital as she continues her battle with cancer.
Sources claim that Fawcett, 62, who has been battling anal cancer since 2006, is not doing well. She has been hospitalized for the better part of the last two weeks. Despite reports that Fawcett’s health is failing, her publicist Arnold Robinson has stated that Fawcett is still undergoing treatment for her condition.
Fawcett rose to fame in the late 1970s as the star of the hit TV show, Charlie’s Angels. Fawcett was married to Lee Majors, of Six Million Dollar Man fame, from 1973-1982. She has been romantically linked to Ryan O’Neal for nearly 30 years. It has been reported by the Los Angeles Times and Reuters that Fawcett and O’Neal will marry in the near future.
Fawcett has been fighting anal cancer since her diagnoses in 2006. Following chemotherapy and surgery, she enjoyed a brief remission before relapsing in May 2007. Since her relapse, Fawcett has undergone seed radiation and traveled to Germany for alternative and holistic therapies. Reports broke in April 2009 that the cancer had metastasized.
In May 2009, Farrah’s Story, a documentary filmed by Fawcett and her friend Alana Stewart, aired to an intial audience of more than 9 million. The show chronicled Fawcett’s battle with the cancer.

This is such sad news,my heart breaks for her and her family, her poor father God but he has suffered he already lost one daughter to this dreadful disease. I hate cancer, I am also real familiar with it, I hope and pray that Farah somehow rallies yet again and is able to go home. I am deeply concerned for her though as I don’t like the idea of Ryan Oneal marrying her when she isn’t coherant enough to even speak her vows. I hope and pray someone is watching out for her and keeps things honest and above board, why now when she doesn’t know what is happening she never said yes before, I don’t like this idea at all, she has too much!
A Lady of class – will be sadly missed by a fan from South Africa.
